He studied medieval and modern municipal statutes, commons in the legal experience from the Middle Ages to today, medieval and modern agricultural contracts, trial and criminal law, legislation concerning beggars, vagabonds and gypsies, institutional practice of visits in the Italian territories of Modern Age, legal culture in the seventeenth century, the work and the thought of Giovanni Battista De Luca

He collaborates with “Centro Studi Internazionali Giuseppe Ermini” of Ferentino, where he coordinates a project on the origins of municipal statutes, with open-access databases on the website of the Center itself. In the same Study Center he is a member of the Scientific Committee of the series of studies on the Middle Ages “L’ogre de la légende”

He is a founding member and member of the Board of “De Statutis Society” at the University of Bologna

He is a member of the Board of Professors of the PhD in Public Law, Tor Vergata University of Rome

He is a member of the Scientific Council of the “Di-con-per Donne” Center for Legal Studies, Tor Vergata University of Rome
