Fields of research

I have an interest in the history of fascism, on both an Italian and global scale, in military history (in particularly the work of military attaches abroad). I am particularly interested in the perception of “the other” in both democratic and authoritarian regimes. In recent years I have focused my research on Twenty-Century Vatican diplomacy and on the history of humanitarianism, in particular in the field of the aid to prisoners of war
