Fields of research
Her research is mainly oriented towards Italian vocal music between the 17th and 18th centuries. She also worked on musical patronage, the history of musical theatre between the Eighteenth and early Nineteenth centuries, and the relationship between text and music in the Opera and in Italian Chamber Cantata
