Fields of research
The research interests were first oriented to consider the relationship between humanity and environment in the construction and transformation of the territories, with particular attention to the Italian regions of the middle Tyrrhenian. Then, the research activity has been focused on the relationship between tourism activities and territorial development intended as forms of enhancement of environmental and cultural heritage, particularly landscape heritage with a wider sustainability approach and with special attention to marginal areas and inner peripheries
