a digital knowledge base online platform, leveraging the latest web technologies) the CineStoty project attempt to analyze and
reveal the originality of the Cines-Pittaluga case, enterprise that in the Interwar Period was able to adopt production models and
to adapt them to the Italian movie industry as well as to actively participate to new cultural processes.
In particular CineStory will focus the choices made by the Italian Company Cines-Pittaluga – well known for the innovative
multimedial nature of its production – to collect the funds necessary for its innovation strategies and to access to credit, a crucial
problem for the Italian movie industry in the past as today.
